England footballer Ashley Cole is playing in the left back position and was born in Stepney, London, England on December 20, 1980. Cole began his career in football at local club Arsenal, and on February 25, 2000 Cole signed a professional contract. When he was 18 years old on November 30, 1999, Cole made his debut against Middelsbrough first time in the Worthington Cup. Initially in the Premier League debut on May 14, 2000 against Newcastle.
Before fully become an Arsenal player, Cole spent most of his time in the 1999-2000 season as a loan player at Crystal Palace where he played in 14 league games and scored one goal.
Together with Arsenal, Cole won the Premier League two times in 2002 and 2004 and the FA Cup three times in 2002, 2003 and 2005 scored a goal during penalty shoot-out.
Although Cole Often injured in the 2005-2006 season, but he recovered in time to help Arsenal beat Barcelona in the Champions League. On June 2, 2005, Cole was fined £ 100,000 by the Premier League because of the transfer move from Arsenal to Chelsea without notice. In the 2008-2009 season, Cole scored the second goal in the final league game against Sunderland and on 2 September 2009 eventually Cole signed a new contract with Chelsea for four years.
