Vincenzo Iaquinta is an Italian footballer who was born on November 21, 1979 in Cutro, Italy, he plays as a striker.
Iaquinta football career started at the bottom division with the club Reggiolo in the year 1996-1998, he played in 33 games and scored 6 goals.
After his contract ended, he joined the club Padova in Serie C and play in 13 appearances and scored 3 goals.
After ending with Padova, then he joined the club in Serie B with at Castel Sangro Calcio in season 1998-2000.
Subsequently in 2000, Iaquinta played for the club in Serie a with Udinese. Together with the club he played in 176 appearances and scored 58 goals. After a seven-year contract with Udinese ended, Iaquinta joined Juventus in the summer of 2007. Over at Juventus he scored 30 goals in 88 appearances.
Iaquinta is a member of the Italian national team squad who took part won the 2006 FIFA World Cup. He scored his second goal in the opening match in the tournament when Italy against Ghana. He played in five of seven matches including the semi-finals and finals.
Iaquinta did not come into play in the UEFA EURO 2008 because of an injury.
He was elected to the Italian national team squad at the 2010 FIFA World Cup where he scored one goal in the group stage.
