Morgan De Sanctis was an Italian footballer who played in the position of goalkeeper who was born on March 26, 1977 in Guardiagrele, Italy who also played for the Italian national team.
De Sanctis started his senior career with the club Pescara in Serie B, then he moved one of the giants Juventus, but only as a late substitute and played three times in two seasons before eventually joining Udinese in 1999 and the agreement is joint ownership with value of 0.5 billion Lire (€ 1,291,142.25).
After three seasons as a back-up Luigi Turci, finally in 2002-2003 started as goalkeeper core. De Sanctis renew the contract with Udinese on 10 November 2000, October 18, 2003 and 20 September 2005 with an increased gross salary of € 569,000 (€ 310,000 net) in 2003 to € 623,000 (€ 350,000 net) in 2005, plus other bonuses , including loyalty bonuses since 2005, for the season € 350,878 (€ 200,000 net).

On June 8, 2007 De Sanctis unilaterally terminating a contract with Udinese and signed a contract for 4 years with Sevilla with a value of € 1,381,578.94 season (€ 1,050,000 in net). Udinese transfer the case to the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber. On December 10, 2009 FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber, Udinese given the responsibility to receive € 3,933,134 from De Sanctis, but because this case is further appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, and on March 1, 2011, amounting to € 2,250,055 granted Udinese .
In the 2008-2009 season, De Sanctis on loan to Galatasaray of Turkey which is a club and he played every league and European games since August 31, then on July 24, 2009, Napoli signed a contract with De Sanctis for four years from Sevilla.
