Andrew Martin Paterson is a Northern Irish footballer who played in a forward position and he was born in Tunstall, England on May 10, 1987. On April 16, 2005, Peterson made his debut as a substitute for Plymouth against Leeds and he scored a goal after six months later with a club Sheffield Wednesday. Peterson played in 12 appearances on loan for one month prior to Grimsby in November 2006. Then in February 2007, Peterson returned to Stroke City. In the summer of 2007, Peterson signed a contract with Scunthorpe United and he was placed as a substitute. Then on January 29, 2008, Norwich Peterson offered £ 850,000 but was rejected Scunthorpe. Burnley also bid £ 400,000 £ 550,000 so even increased but still rejected. And on June 21, 2008, Scunthorpe receive bids amounted to £ 1,000,000 and increased to £ 1,300.000 dependent appearance. On June 23, 2008, Peterson was eventually signed for a four-year contract with Burnley. Peterson scored the first goal in the Premire League on February 21, 2010 against Aston Villa and on June 4, 2010 he signed a contract extension with Burnley.
