Diego Alonso Penny Valdez was the Peruvian goalkeeper who was born on April 22, 1984 in Lima, Peru. Penny began his career along with Coronel Bolognesi of Peru. Then Penny signed a contract for three years with Burnley on June 27, 2008 and debuted with the club started on August 9, 2008 against Sheffield Wednesday. In the second season with Burnley 2008-2009, Penny was the second goalkeeper after Brian Jensen. Penny back to playing with the team in Premire League in the third season in 2009-2010 when Jensen's injury.
